Der Platz zeigt eine gro\u00dfe Bronze-Nachbildung von <\/span><b>Michelangelo\u2019s <\/b><b><i>David<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, der in Richtung der H\u00fcgel hinter den Stadtgrenzen blickt, neben Kopien der vier <\/span><b>Allegorien aus den <\/b><b><i>Medici-Kapellen<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> von <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">San Lorenzo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In der Mitte des Platzes, flankiert von Verk\u00e4ufern, St\u00e4nden und endlosen Ausblicken auf das Tal und die Stadt darunter.<\/span>&#13;\n&#13;\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Platz ist auch ein beliebter Ort, um abends den Sonnenuntergang zu genie\u00dfen und dabei Musik zu h\u00f6ren, w\u00e4hrend man an den Tag zur\u00fcckdenkt. Der <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Piazzale Michelangelo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> wurde zu Ehren des Renaissance-Meisters erbaut und bietet einen einzigartigen Blick auf die Stadt. Es ist ein privilegierter Punkt im historischen Zentrum, um das Panorama von ganz <\/span><b>Florenz <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">und dem Arno zu bewundern.<\/span>&#13;\n&#13;\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der <\/span><b><i>Piazzale Michelangelo<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> wurde 1869 vom Architekten <\/span><b><i>Giuseppe Poggi<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> angelegt, als Florenz die Hauptstadt Italiens war.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Er wurde im Rahmen eines st\u00e4dtischen Erneuerungsprojekts gebaut und zu Ehren des <\/span><b>Renaissance-Meisters benannt<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Geplant war, ein Denkmal f\u00fcr Michelangelo zu schaffen, mit einer neoklassizistischen Loggia, die alle von Michelangelo geschaffenen Statuen Florenz\u2019 an einem Ausstellungsort vereinen sollte.
