Oggi sede di numerose gioiellerie, questo straordinario ponte sopravvissuto a molti attacchi del passato, ospita anche sezioni del famoso <strong>Corridoio Vasariano<\/strong>, costruito nel 1564 da <strong>Giorgio Vasari<\/strong>. Quest\u2019ultimo \u00e8 un passaggio coperto, lungo quasi un chilometro, e sopraelevato, che parte dal Corridoio Ovest della Galleria degli Uffizi, si dirige verso l&#8217;Arno e poi, sostenuto da enormi arcate, segue il fiume fino al <strong>Ponte Vecchio<\/strong>, che attraversa passando sopra le botteghe. Il mercato della carne sul ponte fu in quel periodo trasferito altrove e sostituito (dal 1593) dalle botteghe degli <strong>orafi<\/strong> che continuano a lavorarci oggi. Dall\u2019altra parte dell\u2019Arno, il corridoio attraversa l\u2019interno <strong>della chiesa di Santa Felicita<\/strong>, costeggia la sommit\u00e0 delle case e i giardini della famiglia <strong>Guicciardini<\/strong>, fino a raggiungere infine il <strong>giardino di Boboli<\/strong> (una delle uscite \u00e8 dalla Grotta del Buontalenti) e gli appartamenti di Palazzo Pitti.   <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Il Ponte Vecchio offre un punto di vista romantico e suggestivo sulla citt\u00e0 e sul fiume Arno.
